Supplying refurbished furniture for a film production

An independent production company based in South Wales, London and Los Angeles which was founded over 15 years ago got in contact with Office Resale to supply and deliver various office furniture for a new TV production.

By working closely with production companies we can ensure specific furniture requirements are met, helping to create the exact look required for a particular scene.

The benefit of buying from us is that we have a warehouse with various items of readily available furniture. These include large quantities of matching desks, ideal for sets such as trading floors, to the one off designer pieces that would help the character’s personality shine through in a scene.

Making great savings by buying used designer furniture

Liaising directly with the client we discussed their furniture requirements for this film production. After several viewings at our warehouse, a decision was made on what furniture would be required.

For this project we supplied and delivered the following:

• 80 Humanscale Liberty chairs in various colours, upholstered in our workshop to the customers requirements. The Liberty office chair, has been designed to offer the individual user an automatic lumbar support whilst being modern looking with its streamlined mesh back.
• Over 120 Herman Miller desks with graphite legs were supplied along with 6 electric sit/stand desks.  You can read our review on Herman Miller Desks here.

To finish the production set we were asked to supply various storage units including bespoke recycling units made on site by the Renew Centre.

By liaising closely with the customer, they were able to choose the exact specification required for their production within their tight timeline of just 4 weeks for delivery.

The production company didn’t only get great quality branded furniture for their film production in a very short lead time but they did so at a much lower environmental impact and cost than they would have done if buying new.
